We are always on the hunt for feathers that are often overlooked by the larger flytying industry suppliers. These mallard hen feathers have beautiful markings of alternating dark and lite bars. Not as "black and white" as other plumes such as guinea or gadwall, but a more subtle transition of colour from light to dark. We have used these feathers not only as collars on tubes but also as "cheeks" on large saltwater tubes. They look fantastic!
