Strung ostrich spey barbs









We've used the same process of lightly burning the strung ostrich barbs that we do with our very popular Burnt Ostrich Spey plumes. This process takes away most of the "fuzziness" off of the barbs. The result is a barb that is very close to Rhea. These strung barbs come in three inch lengths and have barbs between 4 and 6 inches. They are equivelent of having the prime barbs from 2 or 3 nice ostrich feathers. These are absolutely what you are looking for to make your Intruder flies come to life!









These examples were tied on 1.5 inch tubes, you can really see the fantastic slimness and length of these fibers!





One of the big pluses of buying the ostrich strung is that you get a nice tidy pack of barbs. No longer do you have to have full plumes stored away. These tidy packs also don't get bent in the mail!
