Though Partridge Double Waddington Shanks have been around for decades, shank development is really beginning to evolve as more and more anglers are seeing how they can be a versatile weapon in their fly boxes. Most of the fishermen we know that use Waddingtons end up cutting off the back loop of the shank and tying in their loops of spider line or wire directly onto the shank. These new Lite Shanks leaves out the back loops and leaves just the end of the shank at the back!
