Squidro fly patterns are becoming a style just the same way that Intruders did a few years ago. Although to flytying "purists", adding a material often used in lure making to a fly may be taboo, many tyers are welcoming the innovation. With all things fishing, the proof is in the catch, and adding rubber legs work!

Here are a couple of patterns we fooled around with this past summer for spawning salmon. Sometimes just a few legs added on as "feelers" is all you need. We like to combine the legs with Lady Amherst Fibers to really get some nice variegated looks!
