tube tying
cones and disks

Cones are vital to a well rounded tube fly selection. Not only can they add to the over all look of a tube, they are often essential when balancing a fly. Hook Hang Down (HHD) can be a big issue, especially with temperamental or short taking fish. Putting that cone on the front of a tube can offset the weight of the hook at the back. Monster Cones and our new Ultralight Monster Cones are fantastic for creating tubes that have that ever important swimming action in the water too.

Adding cones can be a bit confusing. We wrote an article a few years back that goes over the basics of adding cones and disks to tube flies.
